Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan will be honoured at the Marrakech Film Festival in Rabat, Morocco, next month.

A special tribute will also be paid to the late French director and film critic, Daniel Toscan du Plantier. Along with Bachchan, Hollywood director Ridley Scott and Oliver Stone will be honoured as well.

French actor Alain Delon, Egyptian actress Youssra and Moroccan actress Amina Rachid will be felicitated too. French actress Nathalie Baye will host the opening ceremony that will include screening of Moroccan director Faouzi Bensaidi's "Mille Moisv" (" One Hundred Months").

Seventy-three films will be screened at the festival.
