Producer Anjaneyulu and director Veera seems to have zeroed in on an actress after Malavika refused to complete the film.
A tiff between Anjaneyulu and Malavika over difficult dance steps and bitter allegation of sexual harassment by the actress ended in Malavika’s exit from Karthigai. The actress reportedly told the mediators that she would
complete the project after her confinement but Anjaneyulu and Veera were against it. Meanwhile, in an effort to finish the project, the duo has roped in Nisha Kothari for Malavika’s role. Nisha was introduced to Kollywood in Jay Jay as Amoha. Karthigai stars Vikramaditya and Samiksha in lead roles.
