 Rafi and Mecartin the producers and director duo of Love in Bangkok are thinking of changing the title of the film. First and foremost, they are shooting the film in Malaysia and Singapore, as they are unable to shoot in Bangkok due to internal strife in Thailand. Added to that, Mammootty fans think the title is not suitable for the image of their hero. It is an action film laced with humour and they would prefer a more suitable title. The film has Navneeth Kaur opposite Mammootty. The Punjabi lass had earlier done a few films in Telugu and Tamil. The comedy track is handled by Salim Kumar and Biju Kuttan.
