Laya , the heroine who is known for doing performance-oriented roles had decided to quit films after getting married. Her last film 'Tata Birla Madhyalo Laila' is attracting good crowds. She had celebrated her birthday on October 21. Her birthday has turned special as it fell on Diwali day and at the same time this is her first birthday after her marriage. Though she made it a private affair, almost all the unit members of her last film 'Tata Birla Madhyalo Laila' attended the marriage and celebrated it in presence of her husband.
