Anupam Kher, Satish Kaushik and Satish Shah – three men with great comic timing will be seen together in director Shashi Ranjan's comic caper Dhoom Dhadaka, which is also an Indo-Pak collaboration.
“This is film will do wonders for the Indo-Pak relationship because when you laugh together there is much more warmth,” says Kher.
The film also introduces 24-year-old newcomer Mallick Zack to Bollywood, who was selected through a nationwide talent hunt in Pakistan.
Due to lack of better opportunities across the border, Zack says he has been trying hard for a big break in the Hindi film industry. “Of course, I got lucky. Thank god for that. I always wanted to be an actor and God has been kind,” says Zack.
Meanwhile, Ranjan says that good talent will always get a chance in India.
“I guess co-productions are going to be the future of films. Also good talent is always welcome in India. I think that the insecurity which Pakistan government has should go away with such films,” says Ranjan.
So, for now it seems with Dhoom Dhadaka, laughter is the best medicine to India and Pakistan's problems.
