 The well-known comedian Lakshmipathy was found dead at his residence this morning. The actor was alone at his residence, as all his family members had gone out of station. The family members returned this morning and when Lakshmipathy did not open the door for a long time, they broke open the door only to find him dead. The reason for his death is not immediately known but a massive cardiac arrest is suspected. Another comedian Kalpana Roy passed away at her residence in Chennai this morning. She has acted in over 400 films and was well known for her trademark comedy. She always acted in comedy roles in all he films. She never showed any interest in playing character roles. Many actors paid their last respects to her in Chennai. Movie Artists Association chief Nagababu paid his last respects to her and handed over a sum of ten thousand rupees to her family members as financial assistance for conducting her last rights.
