The public sector insurance giant Life Insurance Corporation of India is now all set to launch credit cards soon. LIC is now in the final stages of negotiations with a partner for issuing the credit cards. LIC will launch the credit cards in all probability in October. LIC is also planning to accept payment of premiums through credit cards and this facility is likely to be offered from 2009.
