The kuruvi has not yet emerged from the egg and already there is a controversy.
Interior Affairs minister MK Stalin's son Udayanidhi waited for quite a while to produce 'Kuruvi.' Udayanidhi's friend Vijay is the hero of the film, Trisha is the heroine and Dharani is the director.
From the announcement, there has been great expectation as the team is the 'Gilli' team as well as it is Udayanidhi's first production.
The CM is a champion of Tamil, of a mother tongue. In fact, his govt is giving tax concessions for films with pure Tamil titles. His grandson, the producer of 'Kuruvi,' has named his production company as Red Giant Movies!
When the grandpa is going hoarse championing the cause of Tamil, why is the grandson naming his company in English? Is the tax exemption only for film titles? Why not for companies with Tamil names, fume some dissatisfied lot of people.
Will grandpa intervene and rename the red giant?
Tamil aficionados are waiting eagerly!
