![]() Konkona Sen Sharma plays a Bengali writer and social activist in her next film, The President is Coming, which is based on Kunaal Roy Kapoor’s popular play by the same title. The film explores a day in the life of 10 contestants who will stop at nothing as the US President is coming to town. Konkona plays one of the ten contestants who will represent New India in front of the President. Shenaz Patel (of Black fame) will be seen as one of the fellow contestants who will undergo a series of bizarre tests to prove their mettle. Rohan Sippy is producing the film, which is currently being shot at a city studio. Sources indicate that a production house is taking keen interest in the film and if all goes well, they will be co-producing the film.
