Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao have decided to go their separate ways. After months of speculation on Kiran Rao's first directorial venture, the secret's out - her husband is not producing her film. The happy couple will not be a working couple for Kiran's debut venture.
According to industry sources, “Kiran Rao is planning to shoot her film in guerilla style. It will be an adventurous one where all the characters will be real and the film will be shot in real locations with only a steady cam following her characters. Kiran will not have any paraphernalia which normally accompanies shooting a film.”

Insiders state that nothing like this has been ventured in the past. (Smacks of Aamir Khan , right? With the actor's penchant for experimenting?) Kiran Rao is not too keen on stars and is looking for fresh faces. It is learnt that this is her second script; the first one was nixed by her husband and the project never took off thence.
Adds an insider, “Kiran does not want the burden of expectation from Aamir Khan Production to affect her film and therefore is looking another producer for the film. Her first script was rejected by Aamir Khan who did not care for the subject. The actor feels differently about her current project though, and was keen on producing it Kiran would have none of that.”
Kiran plans to start shooting for her film in the latter part of 2008. She has just assisted Rakyesh Mehra on his film Dilli 6. It is learnt that Kiran is not likely to be involved in the making of Delhi Belly, being produced by Aamir Khan's home production.
Aamir Khan is currently shooting for the remake of Ghajni and will start working on the release of his next home production titled Jaane Tu Yaa Jaane Naa, which will be the directorial debut of Abbas Tyrewala.
