The reigning Bollywood queen Katrina Kaif is considered a lucky mascot in the industry nowadays.
News is that the producers of the movie Blue have signed her for a whopping amount of Rs 1.5 crore to do an item number in the flick.
Katrina’s back-to-back four hits have raised her market value, and the noteworthy thing is that the producers are willing to shell out that kind of money.
‘Blue’ is from the production house of Shri Ashtavinayak, starring Sanjay Dutt Lara Dutta and Akshay Kumar The movie is being made in a lavish budget of Rs 100 crores.
The rumours have it that the production house approached Katrina for an item number earlier also, for the same movie, but at that time she didn’t approve the proposal. When they agreed to pay her 1.5 crore, only then she accepted the offer.
The makers have even offered her a cameo part in the movie. Katrina says that she is doing something special in ‘Blue’, which she would not like to call an item number.
Katrina will shoot for 10 days at a go.
Previously, Katrina, who is not an item girl, was approached by Balaji Telefilms’s for their recent flop C Kkompany , but she turned down the bid. Now we can understand the obvious reason behind it.
