Looks like there’s going to be a shortage of comedy actors in Tamil cinema Since Vadivelu is doing the hero role in ‘Indiralogathil Na Azhagappan,’ he had to turn down about 30 films as a comedian. Vivek is also attempting to become a hero. Through ‘Arai Enn 305il Kadavul,’ Santhanam and Ganja Karuppu have become heroes. That leaves Krunaas and he’s also to become a hero soon.
‘Vadakku Nokki Endhiram’ with its screenplay by Malayalam actor Srinivasan has received several awards. Released in the 80s, it featured Jayaram’s wife Parvathi as Srinivasan’s heroine. An ordinary looking guy gets a beautiful wife. The low self confidence and suspicions that result are shown tastefully with comic overtones by Srinivasan.
Karunaas will do Srinivasan’s role as the doubting husband with the beautiful wife. They are still hunting for a beautiful heroine. The film unit prefers Simran , who is right now acting opposite Telugu comedian Krishna Bhagawan.
It is hoped that she will give Karunaas the green signal
