 Like any other actress who went from Malayalam to Tamil, Karthika too has become very popular right now. What makes her case very special is the fact that her first film in Tamil hasn't even hit the theatres yet! Even before the release of Pulanvisaaranai 2, she has received plenty of offers. One of the offers that she seriously considered was from director/actor R Parthiban. Kartha is the name of the film. The film's shooting was supposed to start in the second week of April. Karthika was planning to complete her portions in the film by the second week of May and go for a trip to the Gulf countries. But the film now stands postponed. Instead of accepting it and then running into callsheets problem, Karthika has preferred to walk out of it. About the other new offers that await her in Tamil, she says that she wants to wait until her first film gets released before she accepts new films.

She said, “I have agreed to this art film because, Lenin Rajendra who is very popular for making art films is directing this movie.” Famous Cinematographer Santosh Sivan is acting as Raja Ravi Varma in this film. if, not mistaken Karthika has to act nude in some scenes, as the story demands for posing nude for making artistic portraits by famous painter Raja Ravi Varma. So far, Karthika is telling more Bharani-sings-a-song-for-Karthika-Masam  Noted actor and scriptwriter Tanikella Bharni has sung a song for the film Karthika Masam. The song is being picurized on Bharani. The director of Karthika Masam, Geddada Anandbabu has penned the lyrics.The lead actors used to sing for the songs that were filmed on them in the olden days but that is not possible now. Bharani has a rich voice and the director decided to tap his talent. It’s natural that any hero’s son will have that privilege and enjoy his dad’s influence. There were great expectations on that film, because it is the debut film of Chaitu and of course for me also.
