Vikram couldn’t possibly have opted for another movie than Kanthaswamy to end his brief sabbatical that lasted a year, thanks to the long pending Bheema. For Kanthaswamy is already topping the tittle-tattle topics among the Tamil movie circles. The extravagant stills and a script rumored to challenge the likes of Robin Hood movies are sure creating waves.
Not to mention the novel idea of the movie launch invitation embedded with an LCD screen that displays the teaser trailer of Kanthaswamy.
As a prelude to the movie launch, Kanthaswamy’s headline grabber invitation launch was held in Satyam theatre, Chennai today evening. The invitation, rumored to have costed Rs. 15,000/-, was officially launched in the event. Vikram , Devisriprasad, Susi Ganesan, Kalaipuli Dhanu, and cinematographer Ekambaram were present.
A teaser trailer that ran for 8 minutes, specially shot for 4 days, was also screened as a part of the event. Vikram was spotted in three different makeovers, with a Kato Mask, as a Swamiji, and as an elderly woman. Besides, scenes including Vikram and Shriya were shot stylishly on par with Hollywood movies. The impressive trailer sure brought a few jaws down at the event.
Kanthaswamy will go on the floors officially on September 23, 2007. The expensive invitations are expected to be distributed for the occasion.
