Kangana Ranaut, rocking the Bollywood currently with her sexy appeal will be cast against Jayam Ravi in Jeeva's film Dham Dhoom. Initially it was Reema Sen who was assigned this role. But she left the project midway. Director Jeeva continued his hunt for a suitable heroine in all the languages. Finally he selected Kangana. The hero of the movie Jayam Ravi and his father Editor Mohan have also approved the selection of Jeeva.
Kangana Ranaut is only two films old in Bollywood. Her movie Metro will be released this summer. The actress is getting good offers and has also been signed as a brand ambassador for the Red Tape shoes. The young girl from Himachal Pradesh was familiar sight at stage shows in Delhi. She was unsuccessful for quite a while, until she received the offer for Gangster. The film was critically and commercially successful, and her performance was especially applauded. This was followed by another acclaimed performance in Woh Lamhe. Shakalaka Boom Boom is her latest release in Hindi.
She won the Filmfare award in the best debutant actress category for Gangster in the year 2006.
