If readers remember, we had reported around three weeks back about the simultaneous shooting schedules of Dasavataaram and Sivaji at AVM studios and about the meeting of Kamal and Rajni amidst the shoots. During the same time, Azhagiya Thamizh Magan too was being shot at the studio.
In the midst of the big crowd that was formed with all three units put together, a small film was being shot unnoticed. Remember Thoothukudi, the gangster flick that had come out in 2006 and Harikumar, its hero. Well, this time, Harikumar was acting as hero in the movie titled Thiruththam.
During a break in the shooting, Harikumar waited nervously outside the sets of Dasavataaram, quite sure that he would get a chance of seeing Kamal in one of the 10 make-overs. But that is when he received what maybe the biggest surprise of his life. Kamal noticed him standing on the fringes, recognized him and called him closer.
How is Kamal so familiar with Harikumar? Well, Harikumar is no newcomer to cinema. He has been in the field for quite a few years now. He had worked in Devar Magan, Mahanadi and Kadhala Kadhala as an assistant dance director. Kamal was profuse in his praise for Harikumar. Kamal said that he had read a lot about Harikumar's performance in Thoothukudi. Harikumar also received some valuable tips on acting from Kamal. Needless to say, when he left the sets, Harikumar was feeling on top of the world. After all it is not every day that you get accolades from a 'Living Legend'
