Kamalini Mukherjee has been signed up to play the female lead in the Tamil remake of Gamyam The film is being remade in Hindi also and Dasari Narayana Rao has begged the remake rights for it. Ushakiran movies will remake the film in Kannada.
Jagaralamudi Radhakrishna will direct the Hindi version. AM Rathnam is producing the Tamil version on the Surya Movies banner. Ravikrishna, son of Rathanm will play the hero. Ilan Kannan, who directed the film 'Ottiraan' with Arjun in the lead, will direct Tamil Gamyam.
