Sometime ago there were rumours that Kamalini Mukherjee , the Bengali girl, who won the hearts of Telugus with two of her films 'Anand' and 'Godavari' is almost ready to quit the films.
The film magazines in Chennai published articles that she is planning to return to her modeling field. However, she refuted all those rumours and sacked her PROs who were allegedly responsible for such rumours.
Moreover, she started accepting films in Tamil as it is the Tamil media which had tried to spread rumours about her quitting films. Moreover, her first film in Tamil with Kamal Hassan in the lead, ''Vetteyadu – Veliyadu' was also proved a hit and after that she gave green signals to play heroine against two young heroes like Dhanush and Simbu.
With the release of Lakshyam , the Tamil version of Telugu film 'Style', wherein she played heroine with Prabhudeva and Lawrence , she would further expected to earn more name. Even in Telugu she is now busy with Classmates opposite Sumanth on Sravanthi banner.
With more number of films on hand, she is expecting that her career would be very bright in the near future.
