It has become a routine in all films starring any of the familly members of the late N T Rama Rao. The films all have the hero being directly or indirectly being referred to as the natural successor to the late N T Rama Rao in acting.
In the latest film Vijayadasami that hit the screen today, there is more than one reference to NTR Kalyanram talks about him and even other actors are seen mouthing dialogues to drive home the point that he is the successor of NTR. How far this will boost the fate of the film is however not known.
There is also a song in which the dupes of NT Ram Rao and Balakrsihna sing and dance along with Kalyanram. When this was done the first time, it was novel. But it is now being repeated film after film and this has begun to lose its punch and novelty. People no longer seem to react to such references to NT Rama Rao time and again. Will the directors and the family members of NTR understand this?
