The recording of songs for Kalidas directed by Bharati Raja and produced by K Lakshminarayana Reddy on the banner of Sri Lakshmi Srinivasa Pictures with Arjun in the lead was completed recently. The recording of songs for the Telugu dubbed version was launched recently.
Speaking on the occasion producer Lakshminarayana Reddy says, 'Himesh Reshmia tuned the songs for which Bhuvanachandra, Vennelakanti and Sahiti scripted songs. Tippu, Karthik, Matangi, Anuradha Sriram, Shalini and Suchitra were renderingthe songs.' Arjun says, 'I am very happy to act in a rare combination of Bhartiraja and Nana Patekar.
Baratiraja who dished out several excellent pictures moulded this film in different way that his earlier ones.' Director Bharatiraja says, 'After a long time, I prepared a good film which could be a feast for the eyes of the Telugu audiences. The film would run in the backdrop of a murder mystery and would attract all classes of audiences.' Arjun, Kajal , Rukmini, Manivannan and others are in the cast.
