Indian cinema is harsh on married women and it is more so in South Indian cinema. Unlike Hollywood, you rarely find married actresses playing heroine roles in Bollywood but Kajol is an acceptation. She made a fantastic comeback through Fanaa, where she acted opposite Aamir Khan In fact, her performance in the film won her lots of critical acclaims. Now, her popularity has reached down south too. The truth is that she is likely to act in a new Malayalam film titled Heartbeats.
Babu Janardhanan, the maker of the film is trying to rope in Bollywood actress Kajol for the female lead role. It will be a different kind of film in the sense that it is based on campus story sans love. Indrajith and Manikuttan will play the role of medical students in the film. It is expected to go to take off very soon.
Will Kajol say yes and steal the hearts of Malayalees?
