It was a star studded affair in the city of dreams, London. Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan and ace heroine Kajol rode on a chariot to the up-market department store Harrods in Knightsbridge, London to release Bollywood stars’ dolls across the stores in UK.
The stars made a royal entry welcomed by Scottish Bagpipers and fans queuing up (some even shedding tears) to see their dream Bollywood stars.
Talking about the success of her latest film Fanaa, Kajol said she would be back to work, though Hindi filmmakers were regressive when it came to working mothers.
"From the time of black and white films, actresses have worked despite the fact they were married. Saira Bano, Meena Kumari, Nargis continued to do excellent work even after they had kids. It’s only now that we have regressed and got into the mode that you won’t get a role if you are not 20-year-old," said Kajol
"I never thought that the work was limited to being on the sets. You can work at home as well. So, I think the moment I had my baby I got into the working mode. I have never worked harder in my life," she added.
Even after so many blockbuster hits, Kajol can’t stop being critical of her own work. "I look at my present movie Fanaa and then feel that there are lot of portions where I could have done better." No wonder everyone wants a piece or a doll of this perfectionist.
