Prashant Reddy, a friend of Venkat was shot dead this evening at Jubilee hills in Hyderabad. Reports ay that he was shot dead by Venkat , son of PCC Chief K Keshava Rao. The two are partners but a dispute over a land deal is said to be the cause of the shootout. Prashant Reddy's body is at the Apollo hospital in Hyderabad.
Venkat has also been admitted to Apollo hospital in an unconscious condition. K Keshava Rao has rushed to the hospital but declined to open hi mouth. According to people close to Venkat, it is quite common for him to brandish his revolver at the slightest pretext and threaten people who don't agree with him He is said to have threatened some people in Maheshwaram with his revolver recently.
