The congress politicians have a penchant for getting into controversies. The latest is the Venkat the son of APCC chief K Kesava Rao. Venkat who was absconding surrendered himself before the police in a case relating to assault and manhandling. He was granted bail later in the day. A complaint was filed by volleyball player Ramakanth Reddy.
Venkat is reported to have called Ramakanth to his residence in connection with a real estate deal. He reportedly bashed him up after Ramakanth refused to part with his property as demanded by Venkat The issue has come as an embarrassment for the YS R government. While the CM may brush it away saying that the law will take its own course, the detractors of K Kesava Rao are baying for his blood.
