TRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao will file the papers for the MP seat from Karimnagar on May 8. He will leave for Karimnagar with his supporters from Hyderabad in a convoy. Many other candidates form other political parties are also getting ready to file their nomination papers over the next week.

Jeevan Reddy, the Roads and buildings minister submitted his resignation to chief minster YS Rajashekar Reddy yesterday. Jeevan Reddy will however not resign from his assembly seat from Jagityal. He expressed his confidence that he would win against KCR in the by poll.
