 Canning of songs is in progress for 'John Appa Rao 40 Plus' directed and produced by Kuchipudi Venkat on the banner of Black and White Act with Krishna Bhagawan, Simran and Ruthika in the lead. Director cum producer Kuchipudi Venkat says, 'John Appa Rao is a fashion designer. He concentrates on his profession and due to some other family responsibilities he ignores about his life and marriage. By the time, he gets settled in life, he crosses 40 years of age. Then he plans to marry and accidentally he comes across a beautiful woman. He dreams of a duet with her in the beautiful locales of Bangkok and the same is being picturised now.' The film is directed by EVV Satyanarayana. This is EVV’s 49th film as director. Kamna Jetmalani and Meghana are the heroines. D Rama Naidu is the producer. Like most of Allari Naresh’s films, Bendu Appa Rao is also a laughter riot. The film is set in a small village. The hero, who is a RMP doctor, cures many diseases that do not respond to medicines with his comedy. Ahuthi Prasad, Dharmavarapu, LB Sriram and others are among the star cast. Koti has scored the music for the film. more I-liked-the-character-very-much,-says-Simran  Simran, who was off the screen after her marriage, made her re-entry through 'Okka Magaadu'. Simran says, 'Several producers approached me with several roles, but I have decided to be very selective and choosy. I wanted to do roles which would give me satisfaction as an artiste. My character in 'John Appa Rao, 40 Plus' is primary and has a lot of importance. It is a different role unlike the regular hero, heroine kind of character. As the character is very important in that film, I agreed to do that role. My first more Seemasastry-in-Bangkok  The unit of 'Seemasastry' is currently in Bangkok. The film stars Narsh and Farzana in the lead roles. G Nageswar Reddy is producing the film under the banner of Sri Kathyanayani Creations and is also directing the film.
