Not in real life but on the silver screen, actor John Abraham will pretend that he is a gay.
This will happen in Karan Johar ’s upcoming production Dostana , if media reports are to be believed.
Karan, who presented the bold thought of legitimizing an extramarital affair in his last directorial venture Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna , will now be giving a gay angle to the love triangle in ‘Dostana’, which is directed by Tarun Mansukhani, Karan’s trusted assistant.
The film has John Abraham , Abhishek Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra in lead roles. Bobby Deol makes a guest appearance and Shilpa Shetty has a sizzling item in the film.
John and Abhishek play close friends. Abhishek loves Priyanka , but she loves John. When John comes to know about Abhi’s feelings for Priyanka , he decides to ward off her advances by telling her that he has different sexual orientation – in other words, he is a gay.
John’s lie in the film reportedly gets legitimacy because of the character played by Bobby Deol.
According to reports, Bobby plays a bona fide gay who is interested in John. When John wants to convince Priyanka that he is a gay, he takes the help of Bobby.
In fact, the film will have John flaunting his bare chest and footballer thighs to the camera.
Since ‘Dostana’ is a beach film (shot mostly on Miami beaches), it will have Priyanka also in many different swimming costumes, but not a bikini.
