T Devender Goud does not seem to be in a hurry to reveal all his plans. Goud said that he has no intention of splitting the Telugu Desam Party. But the real reason is that not many have joined in from the TDP. He expected a host of leaders from the TDP to walk out of the party but no such thing happened.
Goud is now trying to cover up his loss of face by saying that he is not asking anyone from the TDP to come out and join him. He is happy to note that some TRS leaders are showing an interest in joining him. General Secretary Prakash and party ideologue Jayashankar met Goud at his residence this morning and assured him of their full support.
The quick switching over of sides by the TRS ideologue Jayashankar has baffled many observers. He switched sides like an opportunistic politician. He must be doing this only to show the TRS leader that he is fed up with his high handed ways. It would be interesting to see how KCR will react to this new development.
