The Pawan Kalyan starrer Jalsa has failed to live up to all the pre-release hype and failed to live up to the expectations. The music by Devi Sree Prasad was a big hit but the film does not rock in the same fashion. Despite Pawan Kalyan’s hard work and an impressive performance, the poor story and screenplay, played the spoilsport in the film.
The flashback and the poor characterization of the villain and the unconvincing revenge plot, make Jalsa an average film. Pawan waited for seven long years after Khushi for a big hit. But it looks like he has to wait for some more time for that big hit that has been eluding him all these years.
The entire blame for this rests squarely on director Trivikram Srinivas. Trivikram failed to recreate the magic of Khushi.
