There was havoc on the sets of Nazim Rizvi'z film Under-Trial when someone stole the blouse of the item girl Sambhavana Seth from her van. The shooting was halted for over two hours and finally a new blouse had to be ordered. The unit members pointed out that a boy of about 16-17 years was seen roaming around the van before the blouse disappeared.
Asked about the incident, Sambhavana says, “Yes, it is true. I was shooting since morning and Rajpal was supposed to join me in the afternoon. We had to finish a song in a day and all my solo scenes were over. The studio was in Chandivali and lots of local people were around. Since, I was wearing revealing clothes, I went into my van and changed my clothes and went to the sets to have lunch with the producer and the unit members. After Rajpal came in, I went back to my van and was surprised to see that my blouse was nowhere to be found. I searched hard but could not find it. The shooting came to a halt but inspite of the entire unit searching, we could not find it. Finally, we sent a unit member to buy a new one.
“The shooting was halted for close to three hours. Someone in the unit said he had seen a young boy roaming around on the sets and even around the van.”
Sambhavana adds, “It is surprising since I had so many other things in the van and only the blouse was stolen. Thankfully, we managed to get a similar one as we had to can the shoot yesterday as the promo has to be aired from next week.”
