Good friend Himesh Reshammiya has decided to help music composer Ismail Darbar give his sagging career a boost. After lots of coaxing, he has managed to convince Ismail to take to playback singing.
It is believed that Ismail sang out a new composition to him and Himesh was so bowled over that he immediately rung up Bhushan Kumar at T-Series and urged him to sign the composer for a private album.
According to Ismail, when he was a part of Sa Re Ga Ma for Zee TV in 2005, Himesh had asked him to reinvent himself and move with the times. Recently, he composed a song which he sang out to Himesh, just to show that he was trying to change. Apparently Himesh just loved the song. But Ismail is still trying to come to terms with the fact that he can sing. Apparently, his new-found mentor Himesh was again the one who pointed out to him that he had a very unconventional voice and should take up singing.
Meanwhile the album with T-Series will be called Tere Pyaar Main and will be launched in November. The composer has started work on the album. He is also all set to loose 10 kilos of weight, again on Himesh's instructions. He wants him to look like a rockstar. And Ismail is quite game.
