The film is creating sensation all over the world by bagging four Golden Globe awards in different categories. Now the film has created a new record in Indian film industry for being nominated in ten categories for Oscar awards. The film SDM, has been nominated for, Best Music Direction (AR Rehman), Best Song (Jai ho), Best film, Best Screen play (Simon Befoi), Best Direction (Danny Boile), Best cinematography (Anthony Dad Mantle), Best Sound Editing (Tom Sears), Best Sound mixing(Ian Top, Richard Prike, Rasool #OOPS#tti), Best Editing(Kris Dickens). This was announced by Academy of motion picture arts and sciences, today evening at Bewarlyhills in California. The 81st annual academy awards function will be conducted on February 22nd. The basic story of the film is about a poor boy who lives in a slum in Mumbai city, struggled hard to win the prize money of one Million rupees, by participating in the quiz programme of a TV channel. The film already being exhibited film festivals in other countries is going to be released in India tomorrow (23rd January).
