Bengali actress Rituparna Sengupta, who has conquered a million hearts in her home state, is a multifaceted performer with a passion for writing and handicrafts who says Hema Malini is her inspiration.
When asked her how she manages it all, she said: 'I believe if you have passion for something you will automatically create time for it. Look at Hemaji ... she is such a successful actress, she has directed and produced TV serials and she is a dancer too. I really look up to her for her multi-tasking ability and I have the highest regards for her.'
However, she feels it not so easy to create a niche in Bollywood, reports Bollywood Trade.
'The work culture is pretty much the same but it is quite difficult to make a name for yourself in Bollywood. I am working hard and giving my best shot.'
Apparently her parents were not too happy with her decision to pursue a career as an actress.
'My parents still have reservations about it. I was studying then but I always wanted to be an actress. I want to make my parents and audience proud.'
