Genelia is busy with films both in Tollywood and Kollywood. She has a string of hits in Telugu but her film career has not taken off as yet in Tollywood. All the films that she acted in Tamil were a failure at the box-office.
Despite this she continues to bag roles in Tamil films. Not only that, she has also jacked up her remuneration from around 12 lakhs to 25-30 lakhs. Wonder what the secret is?
She only talks about her remuneration with the producers. She is least bothered about the story and the star cast. This is what has endeared her to the producers in Tamil and has ensured that she continues to get fresh offers despite her films flopping at the box-office.
