This week promises to be an interesting tussle between a father and son. We are talking about the two new films that are hitting the screen on February 8. Visakha Express starring Rajiv Kanakala and Naresh is slated for release this Friday.
Bapu’s film ‘Sundarakanda’ is also hitting the screen on the same day. Incidentally Naresh is the hero in both the films. Charmy is playing Bapu Bomma in the film.
Vara Mummapudi is the director of Visakha Express. Vara is the son of eminent writer Mullapudi Venkataramana. Bapu is the director of Sundarakanda but Mullapudi Venkataramana has penned the story and dialogues for the film. The father and son duo will therefore be vying for box office honours on February 8. This is a rare and interesting coincidence in Tollywood.
