Wondering where debutante Deepika Padukone is? Ask Farah!
In Bollywood, 'Ask Mummy' is a common phrase used by heroines when asked a question. Right from Hema Malini who echoed it when ruling the marquee, to Sridevi , to Shilpa Shetty. But model-turned-actor Deepika Padukone is different.
When asked about anything these days, especially about her upcoming film Om Shanti Om in which she makes her Bollywood debut alongside none other than Shah Rukh Khan, the glam girl politely says, "Ask Farah (director Farah Khan)!" Ask her about this and she smiles and replies, "Farah is the director and that too, of my debut film. I trust her completely and she treats me like a baby. And because she's my director, I listen to whatever she says. Also, I am neck-deep in rehearsals for the film." This debutante is all set to take her baby steps in filmdom in January 2007.
