The TDP chief Chandarababu Naidu has a bit of advice to the youth He has asked them to shun frequenting bars and pubs. He said that such acts are not in tune with our culture and tradition.
The youngsters’ today are spoiling their future by indulging in activities that are detrimental to their health. We should not ape the West blindly, was his advice to the current generation. Well said, Babu. But the present proliferation of bars, pubs and belt shops are all a result of your new excise policy.
You were the one who set targets for excise officials. And they in turn saw to it that sales were doubled and trebled year on year. If Babu had not lifted the ban on Prohibition, this situation would not have arised at all.
