'Aiswarya' fame Deepika pairs with superstar Shah Rukh Khan in Farah Khan's 'Happy New Year'. The shoot will start from January.
Deepika's debut film "Aishwarya' with Upendra and directed by Indrajith Lankesh was big box office hit.
Deepika was approached by director Gautham Menon for his new project with Surya
"There were several rounds of discussion for Gautham menon's film, but I couldn't confirm my availability. Finally decided to work for Farah Khan's film" Deepika said.
"Deepika has approached by lots of directors, but she would be taking up new projects only after 'Happy New Year'. Deepika's manger said.
'Happy new year' will be Deepika's second film.
