Ex. Minister Dasari Narayana Rao who earned a place in Guinness Book of World Records for directing highest number of films has dropped idea of launching D-Channel. Dasari initially planned to launch D-channel this year. Dasari paid huge money for big budgeted movies like Tulasi , Chirutha , and Kantri to telecast in his D-Channel.

Gemini TV bought the rights from Dasari for telecasting these movies in Gemini TV. Gemini TV lost lot of its viewers to Maa-TV is trying to comeback and in hunt for good movies to telecast in its channel.
