Dasari Narayana Rao has bagged the remake rights for Simbu's film Kalai for a undisclosed sum. Simbu plays a variety role in this film. Simbu is well known to the Telugu audience,. His dubbed films Manmadhan and Vallavan were dubbed into Telugu earlier. His latest film Kettuvan is also likely to be dubbed into Telugu.
