The two prominent dance masters who also turned actors are at war. Prabhu Deva and Lawrence are at loggerheads. The enmity between them has reached such heights that Lawrence has openly announced that he will never star with Prabhu Deva for the rest of his life.
The reason for the spat is the film ‘Style.’ Lawrence wanted to release the film in Tamil with a new title ‘Lakshyam’. It is alleged that Prabhu Deva scuttled the move. He even lodged a complaint with the Nadar community. Lawrence tried to convince Prabu Deva but he refused to budge. Prabhu Deva reportedly replied curtly that he did not like the film.
The issue however seems to be finally resolved with the intervention of the Nadar community.
