The prestigious film of Kamal Hassan 'Dashaavataram' had entered into a fresh controversy. It may be mentioned here that the film had entangled with several controversies and somehow completed its shooting.
However, the Madras High Court issued a stay order over its release. Someone filed a petition that the story of the film was copied from his original and to check the veracity of the complaint, the court ordered injunction over the release of the film by four weeks.
In fact, the film had started raking up controversies right from its beginning of the shooting. The muhurat was planned at Kumbhakonam near Chennai and the producers were forced to shift the venue and erect a special set due to some controversy.
Asin is pairing up with Kamal Haasan in this film. There were rumours that no heroine had accepted to play opposite Kamal Haasan and the producers had offered a huge amount as remuneration and convinced Asin to play in the film.
There were also rumours that the producer had also paid a hefty amount to Mallika Sherawat to play a villain in this film. A part of the film was shot in Chennai, while some other part was shot in Los Vegas of the US.
Director KS Ravikumar is wielding the megaphone. It is learnt that the film depicts the 'Dasaavatarams' in our epics in a social format. Kamal Haasan playing in a character which has nine different shades — Secret Agent (Matsya), Scientist (Kurma), Villain (Varaha), Karate Fighter (Narasimha), Dwarf (Vamana), Brahmin (Parasurama), Black beauty (Rama), Thief (Krishna) and Philosopher (Buddha) in this film.
However, what would be the last Avatar (Kalki) remained a suspense. To learn about, the court had to vacate the stay order and ensure its release.
