The congress party has shut the mouths of cynics who were raising doubts about the party contesting in the by polls at all. D Srinivas and KVP Ramachandra Rao finalized the tentative list of candidates and discussed it with chief minister YS Rajashekar Reddy today.
D Srinivas left for Delhi this evening to get the list of candidates approved by the party high command. An official announcement is expected over the next one week.
