Four films are expected to release during this Christmas. Dileep's Romeo directed by Rajasenan will release on December 14. Vimala Raman and Samvrutha are the two heroines of the film. Sibi Malayi's Flash with Mohanlal, Parvathy, Indrajit , will release on December 20. Two films Katha Parayumbol and Kangaroo will release on December 20. Katha Parayumbol has Mammootty, Sreenisavan, Meena and many others. The film is directed by Mohanan. Kangaroo has actors like Prithviraj, Kavya Madhavan, Jayasurya, etc directed by Raj Babu.
Dileep's Romeo will kick start the Christmas festivities by releasing a week earlier while all others Flash, Katha Parayombol, Kangaroo will release six days later on December 20, Thursday when schools and college close for Christmas- New Year vacations. The Christmas battle at the box-office is the biggest Malayalam cinema has seen in recent times.
