Hollywood actor Christian Bale has hit back on calls to cut late actor Heath Ledger`s final performance, insisting they are "bloody insane".
The Batman star hit out at the people asking to cut the scene featuring Ledger`s The Joker character in a body bag from the new Batman film The Dark Knight. Bale wants the scene to remain intact.
"I know there are a lot of people out there who don`t think this movie should be shown. But, if you`re asking my opinion, I think that`s bloody insane," Contactmusic quoted him as saying.
"I also think it`s an insult to Heath and everything he stood for. I don`t think anything should be cut - I think it`s the movie he wanted to make," he added.
Bale has also said that the Dark Knight would be a celebration of the `Brokeback Mountain` star`s life and work. He insisted that it would be "rude" not to run with the integral scene.
