Directed by SS Rajamouli, presented by Smt Rama Rajamouli, and produced by Cherry and Urmila Gunnam on the banner of Viswamitra Creations, with NTR , Priyamani and Mamata Mohandas in the lead, Padma Shri, Dr Mohanbabu, playing a prestigious role of Yamadharma Raju and Khushboo playing his wife, 'Yamadonga' had completed the censor formalities recently. The Censor Board had awarded 'U/A' certificate for the movie. MM Keeravani provided melodious tunes for the movie. The film also has heroines like Rambha , Preeti Jhangiani, Navneet Kaur , Archana , besides Brahmanandam and Ali. Story is by Vijayendra Prasad, dialogues are by M Ratnam, Art is by Ananda Sai, lyrics are by Ananth Sriram and choreography is by Prem Rakshit. This socio-fantasy movie is all set to hit the screen on August 15.

It has been reported earlier that the film ‘Kantri’ has a lot of big fights. There are a number of villains in the film and naturally, there is a lot of scope for big fights and violence. NTR takes on the villains’ singlehandedly and he even kills some of them brutally. The censor board felt that the violence was a bit too high and has ordered some cuts. Most of the cuts relate to the heavy dose of violence and blood spilling. Some of the cuts include – a scene showing the villains being stabbed with a big sword by NTR, a knife piercing the body of a gangster, slitting the throat of a gangster, smoking scenes and a vulgar display of cleavage by the more Premacharithra-clears-censor  Premacharithr directed by H Madhusudhan and with Yashwanth, Suhasini and Madhu Sharma in the lead is now ready for release. The film completed censor formalities recently. Sri Prasd Hanchety provided the story and is also producing the film. The director is confident that his new film would also bag awards. The film is l more Ontari-‘gory’-scenes-mystery-revealed The film Ontari hit the screen yesterday. The film stars Gopichand and Bhavana in the lead roles. The film is a bit high on violence. In fact a couple of scenes are nauseating to say the least. One is when Gopichand beheads Rajiv Kanakala. The other is when Gopichand wrenches the hand of the villain and pulls it apart. The audience were shocked and were seen commenting how such scenes could have been cleared by the censor board. The fact is that these two and some other scenes were not in the print that was sent for censor clearance. But they are now being included and exhibited. The censor board got a message that some censored portions from the film have been included and being exhibited. The censor board members w more Chirutha-hurts-Yamadonga Chirutha hit the theaters across the state today. Ram Charan’s debut film is directed by Puri Jagannath and produced by Ashwini Dutt. However there was some resentment at many places over the release of Chirutha. The Reason? To accommodate Chirutha, many theatres had to replace Jr.NTR’s Yamadonga. NTR fans are not at all happy with this. While they have nothing against Ram Charan, the theater management’s decision to remove Yamadonga has not gone down well with them. They fell that the film hitting the 50-day mark is still going strong and is well poised to touch the 100-day mark.
