The Hyderabad police have filed a case against Sania Mirza. The tennis sensation from Hyderabad is said to have offended religious sentiments by her acts at the Mecca Masjid in Hyderabad this morning. Sania Mirza was at Charminar in connection with the shooting of an ad film for a media organization.
After shooting at Charminar, the unit then moved into the nearby Mecca Masjid. The authorities at the Masjid have now taken offense to the filming of the ad inside the Masjid premises. They claimed that no prior permission was sought for the shooting. Sania was dressed in reveling clothes and she was also seen moving around the mosque wearing footwear. Sania Mirza however is tight lipped about the whole issue and has refused to say anything.
