Chief minister YS Rajashekar Reddy has for the first time after a long gap, opened him mouth on the separate Telangana issue. He was replying to an issue this raised by the TRS in the assembly.
YSR said that separate Telangana is not a small thing to be solved in a jiffy. There were many complex issues involved and it had to be looked into great detail. The naxalite problem was also one big issue. He said that there were widespread fears that if a separate Telangana were formed, it would become like Chattisgargh.
YSR once again reiterated that Sonia Gandhi was seized of the mater. She is the final deciding authority and she will take an appropriate decision at the appropriate time.
