The former congress party MLA from Chittoor, C K Babu survived yet another murder attack on him. C K Babu was going in his car when a powerful bomb placed in a drainage exploded. The bomb was exploded using a remote control device.
A bodyguard of C K Babu died in the bomb blast. This is the sixth attack on Babu by his rivals. Babu is now undergoing treatment at a hospital and is reportedly out of danger. The bomb attack took place this morning at the Kattamanchi area in Chittoor.
The followers of Babu blamed the TDP for the attack. A two-day bandh has been called for. While shops and establishment have been closed today, the flowers o Babu have given a bandh call for tomorrow i.e. 1st of January in Chittoor and some surrounding areas.
