Directed by Ravi Chopra and produced on the banner of BR Films, the Hindi film 'Babul' is being dubbed into Telugu as Premabhishekam . Producer of the Telugu version Santosh Kumar says, 'The late NT Ramarao's daughter-in-law Madhavi Sai Krishna is the presenter of this film. We are extremely happy that we were able to dub the film which was made on the prestigious banner of BR Chopra in Telugu. The film has all elements like family, sentiment and love scenes which are liked by the Telugu audiences. That is why Amitabh Bachchan had advised us to dub the film into Telugu. Already the audio has become a big hit in Hindi. We will soon release the Telugu audio also in a week. The film would be released simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi languages on December 8. He will be playing the lead role in Chandrer Bari. The film will be directed by acclaimed Bengali filmmaker Tarun Mazumdar. Babul seems to be following the footsteps of his contemporaries like Himesh Reshammiya, Sonu Nigam, Palaash Sen - popular singers who also made an advent into acting. Reportedly, he was offered the role in Chandrer Bari when he went to record a song for Mazumdar in Kolkata. Venu Madhv is also the producer of the film. He is playing the title role and the film is an all out comedy. The film did not release due to the bandh. She rendered a song for an album prepared by noted pop singer Babul Supriyo. Not only that, she is likely to dance with Babul in the video album. Another noted singer Shaan scripted the song at the request of Babul. It may be mentioned here that Tanusri Datta had learnt classical music for about three years earlier. Mukherjee's co-star, Salman Khan, who was teaching her how to ride a bike for a scene in "Babul," said the actress failed to listen to her advice. She released the clutch too quickly and pressed the accelerator, he said. "The bike jumped a few meters (yards) high, and landed hard on the ground," Khan told The Times of India newspaper.
